The drive to Charlottesville, VA - Aug 25, 2010

The open the blind trick.

Manny, trying to get away.

The last of the Hillsville trees.

This guy really looked at the two of us.

We shopped here at the Red Mill General Store. An old timey type store.

Bunches of farm machinery for sale.

On the way today.
That haze is really fog.

Love to just snap pictures of pretty settings.

Look at that car waaaayyy over there on the bridge.

Never tire of the beautiful scenery.

The blue haze again.

Is that them or is that us?

We don't want this truck to get away. I'll follow it ANYWHERE.
Pretty riding area.

Whosh, down the hill we go.

Can't remember what this roof said. That's the problem with not having internet connections...can't remember back that far!!

We stopped for lunch and this is what we saw in the rearview mirror.

Blue haze. Blue Ridge.

Another "can't remember".

They build house all nestled in the trees.

This looked like a bunch of broccoli to me.

Right on the corner where we turned.

On the road to the campground.

We were quite a ways back, eh?

On another corner.
Finally, we made it to the campground.
Not a very inviting office.
See, this is the front. Over all, the campground was decent.

Safe and sound, thank you.
