Bowling Green, KY - Aug 7, 2010

Boy, this posting has been really a chore. My internet has a short attention span and thus I can only post one picture at a time. We are camped next the amusement park and this is what we saw when we got to the gate. There were no parking places in sight.

A relaxing drive to town.

This was parked at Camping World. It was even plugged into the outlet on the light. Has anyone seen one of these? It's a Trek by Safari. It probably is about 28' or less. It has a very short wheelbase.

We happened upon this replica of a Standard gas station. All it is is a drive up postal box.

Then, we came to a pretty little park. We took this picture and went around the circle to get the front of it but it didn't come out too good. As we were driving away, George saw something out of the corner of his eye. Soooo, around we go again. (the people in the park musta thought we were crazy)

This is what he saw. There was also a small orchestra playing for the people.

In front of city hall was this tribute to the armed services.

Going around the block (again) we saw these three churches. Each one is so different from the other.

When we returned to the campground, we drove down by the sites with the river behind them.
The river is waaaay down the hill.

Further down, we came upon this scene. Look, they've got a chair waiting for you.

This is right next to the campground.

What interesting things we see. Thank you and goodnight.
