Louisa, VA to Gettysburg, PA - Aug 29, 2010

We off to see the wizard. Manny pulls out first.

They stop to let us take the lead. What a glare between their coach and our coach, it's hard to see Manny.

Anyone need a truck? This one was sitting out in the woods and was for sale.

You'll have to excuse some of these pictures. Not the pictures but the fact I can't remember where we were.

I DO know what this is---Montpelier, James Madison's home.

Home? Hotel?

Had this all lined up and up popped a hill.

As seen at a stop light.

Bet these people are lonely.

We had been at a standstill for a long time. Then we found out what the holdup was---Thurmont, MD was having a fair. Mighty long lines, from both directions, to get into the fairgrounds.

Liked this house.

Lots of stuff for sale.

Bridge over Potomac River.

Kinda got a glare but that's the Potomac.
Here we go again...mountains.

This was some kind of seminary.

I was taking the pictures of the town when I realized we had to make a left turn at that light. These streets are SOOOO narrow. George manuevered that turn without too many problems. Only had to back up once. Bet the owners of the vehicles were holding their breaths!!
If the car seen at the corner had been able to back up, all would have been easier. Of course, there were many people in town. (Sunday) I wish I had the presence of mind to take some pictures of the ordeal but I was too busy holding MY breath.

Made it through and on to the campground seen here.

The campground has a bed and breakfast on the grounds. This park is Huge!!!

The barn is the gameroom.

We were out poking around and came upon this eatery. It had the best pork ribs I've ever eaten in a restaurant. And it was a buffet!!!

I was taking a picture of the decor in the restaurant and the guy in the picture got all upset. He thought I was taking a picture of him. See the glare?

They had huge pretty pots of flowers on each side of the door.
Travels were safe, food was good and friends are great. Thank you.
