WWW - Forest Retreat - New Caney - May 1

We had decided last night where we were going for breakfast. Hot Biscuit had our votes. It was a pretty good choice as they had a great buffet. Pete looks good with that baby, eh?

All filled up. (for now)

Haven't figured out how this guy can see to drive. This picture caused quite a stir with the owner. He thought I was checking on his handicap sign. Little did he know we couldn't believe our eyes. He was so mad at the thought of us spying on him, he threw his wheelchair into the back of his truck. Pretty strong guy!!

Ah yes, back at camp and time for chores.

We spent the afternoon watching our granddaughter graduate, on the computer, from Oakland University in Michigan. I had been practicing taking photos before Heather got up there and had no problems. Just about the time she got there, the videocameraman moved HIS camera. Hence the blurred picture and the obvious big nose. Sorry Heather, we tried. Oh well, at least we got to "be there". (Oh yeh, she graduated cum laude)

George gets the table put away.

Is everybody napping?

Dinnertime finds us at Italianos, in Humble. Shirley and Dean Parker waiting patiently. Karen and Dan West (our new members) look pretty happy about something.

LaVerne Williams tries to avoid me. Bess Brantner has babysitting duty this weekend.

Pete Stoilis and Don Williams look like they are demanding their food.

Karen took this picture of the smiling Masons, Ray and Caroline.
Talk about smiling---they haven't stopped all weekend!

And then there is the Lambes.

Nice looking salad. We liked this restaurant. They've got some goooood rolls, eh Ray?

Gonna get your nose!!!

Our very congenial and capable waitress. Natalie P. She must have liked us, too, 'cause she told us to ask for her next year.

We sat outside and talked for a long time. It finally cooled down. Thank you for everything and Good Night.
