Oops, just HAD to add the picture of Samantha, at a swim meet.

Been really lazy lately. see Franklin's blog http://franklingeopat.blogspot.com/ This is from the WWW rally two weeks ago.

They always decorate for holidays. This is how we were greeted.

DSC06270

The little spooky guy waved to everyone as they drove in.

DSC06271

Our welcoming committee was Phil and Gisele, Allan and Margaret and George and Pat. After I took this picture, I never picked up my camera again until we started for Austin. So you'll HAVE to see Franklin's blog.

DSC06272

Hmmm, what are you contemplating, George?

DSC06273

OK, let’s jump to Sunday morning before the trip to Austin. We have to get the tummies filled. Of course we do.

DSC06275

We had a really pleasant trip through the hill country. There were three of us traveling together. The Parkers, Williams and Us.

DSC06277

Really pretty countryside but not without traffic.

DSC06279

We stopped at a light and this house was waaayyy up on the hill. Look at all the wires in the intersection.

DSC06281

Our destination.

DSC06285

We went out for lunch, of course, and crossed the Mansfield Dam.

DSC06287

But---no dam water.

DSC06290

Hail, Hail, the gangs’ almost all here. We found a great pasta house.

Oklahoma to Corsicana - Oct 6, 2010

We knew this day was coming but it arrived before I was ready. Here, Manuel is braving the cold to get his coach ready to roll.

After coming over to say our goodbyes, Manuel is ready to roll.

Connie was hiding behind the tree. She took one more picture.

This is truly "The Esparzas on the Road". Safe travels, my friends.

No friends beside us.

We never did see this from the other side. It's the welcome to Winstar.
These people looked like they were freezing.

Strange thing to see in the middle of town.

I'm practicing taking pictures on the fly. (like Connie does, above the screen on the side window) This one turned out pretty good.

At first I thought this was a stadium but it turned out to be a college.

Spaghetti bowl, USA.

Another side shot---looks like the truck is buried in the field.

Hey, I'm getting pretty good at this!!

Oops, a little late on the trigger.

There's no mistaking Dallas.

Guess you know where we're heading.

More Dallas.

Had to stop somewhere for lunch. Betcha thought we stayed here for the night, eh?
There were probably twice the number of flags. They sure looked great.

THIS is where we stayed. Nice park but not many people here.

Thank you for everything you allowed us to do. Only God and George know how much I have enjoyed the time with Manuel and Connie. Tomorrow we will be home.
