We decided to check out the countryside. My timing was a little off on this picture but behind those horses was a young man cutting down the cornstalks. Look at the haze in the background.
They string the washed clothes from the house to a pole waaaay out there. The mens clothes cannot touch the womens.
Another young man on his way to somewhere. We saw many of the wagons and buggys in our travels. The roads are narrow and very windy with corn fields high on both sides of the road. You have to be fast (Connie) with the camera to catch pictures of the workers in the fields.
After getting lost, we were hungry again. We stopped at Shady Maple. This place is known far and wide for its HUGE buffet. This bear greets you as you enter. The sign says "If you think I'm big, you ought to see the buffet here."
Connie, in her favorite place---with the birdhouses.
Tha Tha That's all, folks!! Thanks for today and friends.
Oops, where did this come from?
