Algonac, MI - Jul 30, 2010

It's taken me a couple of days to post these pictures because I found out that my broadband was picking up Canadian airwaves and thus costing me a fortune. So, I waited a few days to post. Now, my only problem is remembering all the stuff that happened. This is a freighter going up river right in front of the campground.

Thought this was a different way to present a small shopping center.

Some of the piers along the road from Vicki's to the campground. There is probably a mile of them. The water is the St Clair River that goes from Lake St Clair to Lake Huron. That's Canada across the river.

This HAD to be the first lunch in the New Baltimore, MI area.

My kids were raised in this house. It's so close to the road, I couldn't get the whole house without going into the neighbors yard across the road. We had a few hours to kill before dinner. Vicki and I decided we were going to have a family barbeque so we could see the girls for a longer time.

These next few homes are on the same road or in a close proximity. Now you know why we left---couldn't keep up with the Jones'/

When we lived in the other house, this was a mushroom farm. I was dumbfounded!!!

This church has been here FOREVER. It's in a town called Muttonville. Great name, eh?

Vicki's house.

Our girl, Allison, not looking too happy. George and I were sitting on a couch out of the way when she walked out on the porch. All she could say was "Shut Up"!!!! The look on her face was priceless.

Heather and Jeff (bride and groom)
Don't know what happened to Saturday. Bill and Vicki went here to dinner with us, Saturday night.

Bill and Vicki
Vicki says "MOM, do you have to take pictures of everything?" Yup, if it's interesting.

Couldn't resist taking a picture in the mirror.

What's this doing here?

Dem's all cheesecakes. We like to eat!!! There's another one somewhere. Maybe George has it.
Packin' the trunk with cheesecake. Bill and Vicki took them home to the refrigerator and then came back to the coach. (30 miles round trip)

A closer picture of a freighter on the river.

What a wonder time for family. Thank you.
